This is sort of a Nickelodeon-homage to the story “Blind Faith” (which was later followed by the story "Blind Sight"). It was first published in the “Tales of the TMNT”-comic books by Mirage Studios. And this month just happens to be the 10th anniversary of that story.

Interesting, There is a filler episode in the 2003 tmnt where Ralph is temporally blind. Reminds me of that old Audrey Hepburn thriller movie about a blind woman who is being attacked by mobsters. Anyway, very cool comic. Nice art too.
