I imagine that this would pretty much be the brothers’ reaction if Raph brought home a turtle-salamander-hybrid-baby to the lair.
Leo is weirded out by the idea of his brother suddenly becoming a family man, Donnie can’t compute how this child is scientifically possible, and Mikey has only one thing on his mind.

…Is this becoming a series? Not sure, I’m too drunk on crazy and soda to say for sure. Hm? What is this list of ideas and upcoming Hamatomander family drama doing here? Who wrote this using my handwriting?  

Trivia: That’s actually not a baby carrier. It’s an egg basket. Raph was in a hurry and snatched the wrong kind at the Salamandrian hospital. But lil’ Irrilia looks pretty content with this choice too.

Salamandrian Head Canon nr 103: On Earth, some species of salamanders lay eggs while a few give birth to live offspring. The Salamandrian race consists of several different species as well, where some lay eggs and some do not. But thanks to modern medicine, Salamandrian women are now allowed the luxury to choose what kind of birth they prefer. Egg birth vs live birth is a heated topic, as they come with different benefits. Egg birth is known as less painful and the pregnancy is shorter, but the eggs are very sensitive to temperature and impact. Live birth is more painful with longer pregnancy, but Salamandrian newborns are fairly independent and don’t need constant care.

If you’re wondering why the baby has a bandage one her back, you have probably missed the dramatic circumstances around her birth.
